YAY I FINALLY FOUND THEM. I have been looking for a pair of wedges for the longest time, but couldn’t seem to find any that were comfortable. But that changed when I saw these. The platform in the front makes the shoes a lot more walkable and I love the neutral colors because it makes pairings so much easier. Be on the look out for these shoes in upcoming outfit posts!

A summer essential has to be a pair of sandals. With the hot weather, it is important to have open toe shoes. These scandals are ideal for everyday wear and are super easy to style. Pair them with a sundress for a more dressed up look, or pair them with shorts for a casual look.

Hello Tumblr! Ooh, what’s this? Our first post! We took a trip to Magnolia Bakery (the one near Rockefeller Center) and split a massive slice of chocolate-on-chocolate cake. SO good. Worth every calorie, we promise. We both rank it a 6 or 7 out of 10 on the sweetness scale. (Barbara’s got a major sweet tooth and Lauren can’t take too much sugar so that should give you a pretty good sense of where the slice stands.)

If you’ve never been to Magnolia, here’s a quick rundown. It’s cute, small, and has happy decor. Pretty crowded though, and the line to pay is a mess. All of the desserts sound a little bit pricey, but many of them are pretty worth it. Especially the big cakes ($4.50 for a huge slice).

Barbara also tried their (apparently famous) banana pudding. Lauren thought it looked pretty nasty and the taste didn’t suit her either, but Barbara said it was pretty good for those who are fans of bananas. The bread in the pudding was the best part. It complimented the banana taste really well without overwhelming it.

If you’re in or visiting the city, give them a visit! Definitely a guilty pleasure of ours :D
